Western Omelette Pie Iron Sandwich (Made with the Toas-Tite Pie Iron)

The Classic Toas-Tite “Hot Pocket” Sandwich

This Western Omelette pocket is loaded with scrambled eggs, ham, peppers, onions, and melty cheese — sealed and toasted in the Toas-Tite® sandwich maker until golden and crispy. A fast, no-mess breakfast you can cook over a campfire, on the grill, or right on your stovetop.

Ingredients for the Pudgy Pie Western Omelet

  • 2 slices of bread, buttered on the outside
  • 1 scrambled egg
  • Diced ham
  • Diced green pepper, onion, and tomato
  • Shredded cheese (your choice)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Step-by-Step: How to Use the Hot Pocket Pie Iron

  1. Butter two slices of bread.
  2. Place one slice (butter side out) onto your Toas-Tite® pie iron.
  3. Add scrambled eggs, diced ham, peppers, onions, and tomatoes.
  4. Sprinkle with cheese and seasoning.
  5. Place the second slice of bread on top, butter side out.
  6. Close the Toas-Tite® and trim any excess bread.
  7. Toast for about 1½ minutes per side, or until golden brown and sealed.
  8. Carefully open, let cool briefly, and enjoy!

Campfire or Kitchen — Your Hot Pocket Maker Works Anywhere

Great with bacon, sausage, or veggie-only fillings.

Works perfectly on a gas stove, grill, or campfire coals — just keep the heat moderate to avoid burning.

Also known as a pudgy pie, campfire sandwich, hobo pie, or hot pocket sandwich maker meal — all made using the original Toas-Tite®!
