Ingredients for Pie Iron / Hot Pocket Toasted Cheese
- 2 slices of bread, buttered on the outside
- 3 slices of Velveeta cheese (or your preferred melting cheese)
- 1 slice of tomato (optional)
- Butter for the bread
Recipe Instructions for Pie Iron Grilled Cheese
- Butter both sides of two slices of bread.
- Place one slice (butter side out) on your Toas-Tite® grill.
- Add 3 slices of cheese and a slice of tomato.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter side out.
- Close the Toas-Tite® and trim any excess bread.
- Toast for about 1½ minutes per side, or until golden brown and crisp.
- Carefully open, let cool briefly, and enjoy the gooey perfection!
