Ingredients for Pie Iron / Hot Pocket Toasted Cheese

  • 2 slices of bread, buttered on the outside
  • 3 slices of Velveeta cheese (or your preferred melting cheese)
  • 1 slice of tomato (optional)
  • Butter for the bread



Recipe Instructions for Pie Iron Grilled Cheese

  1. Butter both sides of two slices of bread.
  2. Place one slice (butter side out) on your Toas-Tite® grill.
  3. Add 3 slices of cheese and a slice of tomato.
  4. Top with the second slice of bread, butter side out.
  5. Close the Toas-Tite® and trim any excess bread.
  6. Toast for about 1½ minutes per side, or until golden brown and crisp.
  7. Carefully open, let cool briefly, and enjoy the gooey perfection!
